Billy Martin

Billy Martin  moved back to Mountain View in 2009 after living in Mississippi and Tennessee for 20 years. He started taking fiddle lessons at the age of 40 after many years of searching for a teacher. Since moving back, Martin has excelled in his musical career and expanded his abilities to playing guitar and mandolin. He has traveled with Rambling Jack across the country playing guitar and singing. Billy Martin was on the original staff band at the Ozark Folk Center State Park when it opened in 1973.  Since moving back, Martin has started performing again at the Ozark Folk Center State Park with the Cobb Brothers Band and the Roger Fountain just to name a few. Billy Martin can be seen performing at the Ozark Folk Center State Park or downtown around the Courthouse.
